Expression

Organism Comment Expression
Populus tremula x Populus alba with prolonged cultivation time of grey poplar genotypes, the relative expression patterns of OPR1 increases in root and in shoot. Significantly higher OPR1 transcript levels are detected in the roots of phenotype TP11 and phenotype TP20 after 10 days of Cd treatment, especially in phenotyp TP11 (38.4fold) grown under 0.01 mM Cd, compared to the control. As in the roots, the level of transcription in the leaves is also upregulated after 10 days of Cd treatment. The highest upregulation of ORP1 (16.4fold) is measured in the leaves of phenotype TP20 cultivated with 0.01 mM Cd up
