Bacillus subtilis expression of GdpP is regulated by a cis-acting antisense RNA in vivo. Transcription of this antisense RNA is initiated in the middle of the GdpP gene and is dependent on an alternative sigma factor, sigmaD. Changes in sigmaD activity can modulate GdpP protein levels by about2.5fold additional information
